Overview

The Branch Manager focuses on the betterment of Supplied Energy as it relates to branch and overall company sales, maintaining an organized, clean facility (both inside and outside), receiving inventory, picking and packing orders accurately, maintaining vehicles and machinery, delivering product, coordinating logistics, assisting with installations for solar, geothermal, and air-source, and other duties as assigned by management. Overall, the person in this position strives to exceed customer expectations in a sales role, order/product fulfillment, delivery, logistics, and customer service.

As it relates to the sales side of this role, there is opportunity for commission to increase the salary range.

Physical needs are required for this role. With proper safety procedures followed, this role requires no fear of heights and ability to maneuver 100-plus pounds.

After a 90-day probationary period, employee is eligible for 100% employee healthcare coverage and unlimited paid time off.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Entry level with advancement opportunities as product and industry knowledge is developed by the individual.
  • Relevant sales experience or education
  • Experience in HVAC, specifically heat pumps, water heating, and/or the construction industry
  • IGSHPA, NATE, ACCA, or PHCC certification is preferred, but not required
  • Comfortable visiting job sites
  • Ability to maneuver vehicles in combination (trailer)
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Physical needs: No fears of heights and able to lift 100-plus pounds

Job Responsibilities

Contribute to the betterment of Supplied Energy

  • Contribute to the growth of sales by ensuring projects are packed, picked, and shipped or delivered efficiently and accurately to existing customers while cultivating new customer relationships to grow sales
  • Ensure a customer first mindset throughout all processes and interactions
  • Document, update, and follow processes and procedures, either created personally or by others related to the role
  • Focus on cost control and savings in all aspects of business
  • Work with relevant teams, including Order Entry, Product Management, and Sales
  • Practice professionalism through language, taking initiative, following proper etiquette, etc.
  • Work with a team player, positive attitude
  • All other duties as assigned

Maintenance of the facility

  • Clean and organize facility inside and outside, including adjacent buildings
  • Maintain product yard, cleaning up trash and mowing around buildings
  • Organized inventory and ensure items are clearly displayed
  • Remove trash as needed

Maintenance of vehicles and machinery

  • Assist with vehicle maintenance, assuring all vehicles are in good condition to go on the road
  • Clean vehicles thoroughly bi-monthly, inside and outside
  • Lubricate machinery as needed
  • Assist in ensuring all machinery is in good condition/maintained properly

Order fulfillment and delivery

  • Communicate with customers
  • Follow shipping processes
  • Reference ERP system to pick, pack, and ship orders correctly
  • Deliver orders as assigned
  • Forklift operating experience

Sales

  • Grow sales, our customer base, and the products/solutions we offer
  • Create proposals and quotes for installers and distributors
  • Provide project knowledge for commercial and residential HVAC and solar opportunities
  • Work with installers in HVAC and solar design
  • Occasional training and on-site project support
