The Generac SnapRS™ (APKE00011) is a compact inline disconnect switch used for module‑level rapid shutdown in Generac PWRcell solar systems. It attaches directly to the negative lead of each PV module, enabling fast, code‑compliant shutdown without complex wiring, pairing, or additional mounting hardware.

Product Description
The APKE00011 SnapRS™ is designed to meet NEC 2017/2020 690.12 rapid shutdown requirements by isolating each PV module during a shutdown event. When the PWRcell inverter initiates rapid shutdown, every SnapRS device opens the circuit at the module level, reducing array voltage to below 80V within seconds.
Its simple “snap‑on” installation eliminates the need for module‑level electronics or communication networks. The device is NEMA 6P rated, extremely lightweight, and engineered for long‑term reliability with a 25‑year warranty. It supports up to 10 units per substring when used with Generac PV Link.
