Viega Barrier PEX tubing, also sold as ViegaPEX Barrier, is cross-linked polyethylene tubing with an ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) oxygen barrier layer highly resistant to the passage of oxygen. Item 11425 is the 1/2" size in a 300 ft coil.

Viega lists the tubing for hydronic heating and cooling, snow melting, potable water, and transfer lines for baseboard heating systems. Pressure and temperature ratings are 160 psi at 73°F and 100 psi at 180°F, with baseboard transfer lines rated to a maximum 200°F at 80 psi.

The tubing is compatible with Viega PEX press fittings and with ASTM F1807 PEX crimp fittings, and is rated for six months of UV exposure.
