PSR-MSPL is the splice for the Pegasus Max Rail. Pegasus describes the rail splice as a no-tool connection: the installer inserts the splice into the first rail up to the bump stop, then pushes the second rail onto the splice up to the bump stop. No fasteners or separate bonding hardware are needed at the joint.

Bonding is integral. Per the Pegasus Rail System installation manual the splice provides a bond connection between two rail sections, including when a 1" thermal gap is utilized, so the splice satisfies rail-to-rail electrical continuity in the UL 2703 listed system. Pegasus differentiates the Max Splice from the standard Splice by span rating, listing the Max Splice at 6 ft spans up to 130 mph versus 110 mph for the standard Splice.
