The Enertech EAD024C11SS is a multi-position direct expansion (DX) air handler for R-410A at a nominal 24,000 BTU/h (2 ton) capacity. It runs on 208/230V, 60 Hz, single phase power and uses an ECM blower motor. It is the air handler half of an Enertech split-system water-to-air heat pump.

The EAD024C11SS is the Enertech Global multi-position DX air handler for R-410A split-system geothermal and water-source heat pumps. In Enertech nomenclature, E designates the Enertech brand, AD the multi-position R-410A DX air handler series, 024 the nominal capacity in MBTUH, the voltage digit 1 is 208/230V 60 Hz single phase, and the blower digit 1 is an ECM motor.
Published electrical data for the 024 size lists a total unit full load amperage of 3.9 A, a minimum circuit ampacity of 4.9 A and a maximum HACR breaker of 15 A. Unit weight is 155 lb, and electrical knockouts are sized for 1/2" or 1" conduit.
Enertech notes that the air handler must be installed with its certified match to carry an AHRI or ENERGY STAR certified rating; the 024 air handler is matched with the BT024 compressor section. Factory electric heat kits are offered as an option.
