The AFR1721A is an Enertech Global filter rack accessory for the VS and VT compact vertical packaged water-to-air geothermal heat pump, covering the 006, 009 and 012 model sizes. It is a galvanized rack of the 1"-2" style, meaning it holds either a 1" or a 2" thick filter rather than being limited to one filter depth.
Enertech offers return-air options on these units as plain return duct flanges, a 1" commercial rack, or the 1"-2" rack. The filter rack is sold separately from the heat pump, and installation instructions are supplied with the rack.
